Coit Tower

After the long day yesterday we decided to have an easy day .It was Sunday and the day of the Bay to Breakers and the Escape from Alcatraz aquathon –  both of which I’d resisted the urge to enter .Raeleigh was going along to watch a couple of the athletes she trains. We took the BART to Embracadero station and walked along to pier 39 where we met up with Scott and Raeleigh. We went to the Wipeout for lunch. After lunch we walked over to see the Sea Lions which seem to have made themselves a home on the platforms within pier 39 . After , as Scott had to move his car, we drove up to the Coit tower and somehow squeezed Scott’s car into a very tight parking space on the hill. The tower is set on the highest point of San Francisco and from the top there is a 360 degree view of the City and the Bay .  We said our goodbyes and Lil and I headed back to the BART station at Powell St and back to the RV park.
